Boys will be Boys

How Lucas and Micah entertain themselves...

Lucas and Micah gathering every pillow and blanket to make a huge pile to jump in. They would run full speed and jump yelling Cannon Ball!

Lucas and Micah filling the crib up with every pillow and blanket and then trying to hide themselves. Look closely...they're in there. Don't worry David doesn't sleep in this crib yet. Nobody does and I guess that is why it's a play pen now:)

133 cars. The design means nothing. We ran out of floor space.

Joshua also loves to dump everything into the crib, including all the clothes that he takes out of the dresser drawers. Your boys are so dang cute! I can't believe how big they are getting.

About three weeks ago I finallly dared to enter Anna & Eleanor's room. It was so messy I couldn't negotiate my way to Anna's bed. I finally decided it was time clean up. As I started to put away the stuffed animals, I noticed some were soaking wet. As I continued to clean, I found more and more wet stuff. When I got to the bottom, I noticed the carpet was soaking wet. Using a towel to soak up the water wasn't working. I pulled up the carpet, the pad was wet. I pulled up the pad, the sub-floor was wet.

We had to pull up half the carpet and run fans and heaters for 4 days to dry out the carpet, pad and sub-floor.

I guess what my daughter does for fun is to carry in buckets of water and dump them on her "babies" to give them a bath.

Lesson learned...don't let the room get that messy, or at least walk through the mess in bare feet so you can feel the water.

All I can say is awesome. I love hearing about what Lucas and Micah do to entertain themselves. I also thoroughly enjoyed Maria's story about her girls. I am sure I will have some of my own in due time.
