Last Sunday, Feb 24, was David's blessing day. I know I should have posted this at the beginning of the week. I guess I have been busy. Sorry Mom and Dad for taking so long:)
David is a very serious baby. He does smile once in awhile. He mostly smiles when his brothers come over and talk to him or play boxing with him. He is very content and just a sweet little guy. He sleeps a lot. As Lucas put it yesterday as we were coming home from the beach, "We gotta get home because David's gonna have to poop." I guess Lucas already knows the routine with David. I had just fed David at the beach and in the car David was sleeping so what else is left for David to do...eat, sleep, and poop. I found this amusing to say the least.
David's two month check-up was this past Thursday. He weighed in at a whopping 11.5 pounds and 22.5 inches. Yep, he's still small:) Mom, if you are wondering if he has red hair the answer is Yes. But, I think it might grow in blonde like mine did.
Jon gave David a sweet blessing. All the bases were covered. Health, mission, resisting temptation and helping brothers to do the same, accepting the Savior in his life. I don't know the rules per say on whether or not I'm allowed to tell what his blessing entailed on a blog, but I figure that everyone at church heard it. And this is a blog for family and friends so I think it's ok. If you don't then sorry to offend:)
We were grateful two of Jon's brothers and their families came for the special occasion. It was a lot of fun to have 10 cousins here and 6 adults in our apartment. Good times were had by all...at least I think so:)

Deanna and Jon, your boys are awsume. David looks like you Deanna and his hair is like yours was. Its strange to see the red hair and know that is what your looked like and then turned so white. It's so cute that Lucas is holding Davids head so it won't bob during the picture. We miss you all but really love your blog. It really helps keep us in touch. Thanks again, Love you all whole bunches, Mom
That picture of David at the first is soo cute! You got alot of smiles out of him, for a 2 month old! We don't really get smiles out of our kids on the blessing day:( That's nice that you could have some family there. Thanks for the post.
PS-I drove by the "shoe store" on Broadway around 124th-ish and thought of you guys:)
Ah, yes, the shoe store that does not sell shoes...
Deanna--I had to do a double take on that picture of your boys--Lucas and Micah look like twins, the same crazy big grin. I love it! David is cute, I need to add his picture to my wall of pictures at work. Your blog always makes me smile :) I need to update mine but I haven't had too many crazy things happen. And I only like to write about crazy things. :)
David is really adorable.
check out those smiles in the last pic... so great!!
