Survivorman

Well, it looks like we have a little Survivorman in the family. The other night, I was flipping channels and began mindlessly watching Survivorman. After a few minutes, I went to change the channel, but Lucas wouldn't let me. He was glued to the TV, fascinated by how Survivorman managed to endure the desert heat, eat cooked scorpions and avoid being attacked by snakes. After the program, Lucas gathered all of the blankets he could find, grabbed a few other supplies like the nerf bat and sleeping mat, and set up camp in the hallway by the front door. He was very disappointed that I had not Tivo'd the episode.
Well, we now have two recorded episodes. Lucas prefers the one with the sled dogs. I think it's because in that episode, Survivorman has a gun, which is standard issue survival gear when Lucas plays. Lucas also always builds a shelter and a fire. On Monday, he sat down at the table and drew six "Survivorman" pictures.
I guess we shouldn't be surprised that he likes the show. He has always loved playing adventure games. Lucas and Deanna spent many hours in search of adventure last
March in Akumal.

He also loved camping with Grandpa in the summer.

Hey, you're surviving 3 boys(well, technically 4-right:) )-that is DEFINITELY "survivor woman"!:)-that's pretty cute about Lucas.

I LOVE those shows...but Man vrs. wild is way better than survivor man. I seriously watch those over most anything else (not that we have too much of a selection over here). That's pretty funny.
