Jamaica - 2006

We went to Jamaica for Spring Break in 2006 (we hit the sweet spot on the Earned Income Credit). It was awesome. Our room overlooked the ocean, and we could hear the waves when we opened the sliding door to the balcony. The water was about 80 degrees, and there was usually a slight breeze coming in off of the ocean, so it never got too hot. It was a perfect vacation. Lucas was almost 3 and Micah was 8 months old.

We went all-inclusive, so, although the food wasn't anything to write home about, it was plentiful, our kids ate it, and we didn't have to worry about anything other than relaxing in the sand. Oh, and we could get all of the juice and pop that we wanted... A special thanks to the Marsdens for making a special trip to the gas station in the burbs of NY to get us not one, but two 44 ounce turbo insulated mugs. Maybe it was such an awesome vacation because we always had a refreshing beverage on hand...

So, did you notice the dialogue in the beginning between Lucas and me? I confirmed all of the activities that he said we should do, except for the "boogers" one. I didn't and don't really know what he was trying to say. Anyone have any ideas?

Lucas loves this video. It may have something to do with the dialogue.

I agree with the second song,"maybe this is how it's suppose to be"! It got us excited about our carib trip in March, and our beach trip with you guys next year:) And Deanna, I can tell by your pink top that you're in international waters:)
