7x4 = 28 Years

This week was my big 28th b-day. Lucas got really excited to celebrate my birthday. He asked me if he could invite his friends over for my party. I told him that we were just going to keep it low key - family only. He was okay with that. He went to school that day and told his teachers and friends all about how we were going to have a birthday party that night. He even decorated a box for me and put a few presents inside of it. He was so excited to give it to me. I was excited to receive it too even if he was only loaning me a few of his own toys for the day.

I didn't realize how excited or important it was for him to celebrate my birthday. I guess we make such a big deal out of his b-day that he believes that everyone should have such a party. We ended up stopping at the Cheesecake Factory and getting a slice of chocolate cake (Lucas picked it out), and then we went home and celebrated. I raided the kids' birthday decoration box and we had a Thomas the Tank theme with cool party hats. We only had 7 candles (hence the title 7x4). So although I turned 28, it seems my kids are still keeping me young...

This is really late, but Happy Birthday. Spen was looking at your blog and I saw the picture of all 5 of you, and I asked if you guys had some people over(or if there would never be people to fill our gap:) ), but then I saw that it was just you guys and your kids! You're starting to be alot of people! I loved the present from Lucas. Gotta love the sweet moments that little kids bring(to balance out all the...not so sweet moments:0 )

So Happy Late B. We love and miss you guys,

Diana

Happy Birthday. I sure hope you got to eat out.
We have had no money while paul looks for work....hence no eating out. So sad. I usually eat at a few of my favorite places once a week. We are bad. I must say it has made me use my domestic skills more which badly need developing.
