The third trimester has begun. I mean I am now officially always TIRED. Amazing how that works. Here is a little post about this pregnancy since I haven't really talked much about it.
Currently I am 28.5 weeks pregnant. I have actually only gained about 11 pounds. First trimester I lost 3 but I have to admit that was mostly muscle since I was really muscular due to my running. Remember I ran that marathon at 4 weeks pregnant. I haven't run since. hehe. I don't exercise while pregnant. I should but it's just too painful and tiring. You might be wondering why Painful? Well, there are reasons, and I just don't really want to share them on a blog. Some things are better left untold:)
I hate food. I am really jealous of pregnant women who get cravings. That's Not me. I wish. Instead I have to force myself to eat. I have to force myself to eat meat. The thought of meat makes me gag. If I ever do have a craving then I crave fruit, salads, and cran-apple juice. I know it seems stereotypical but I craved this stuff before I knew I was having a girl. I also like chewing ice cubes. I wish I could find a place somewhere around here that sells crushed ice. I haven't looked hard for that but oh how glorious it would be. :)
My belly is the biggest it has been with any of my pregnancies. I am sticking more straight out than getting wider, which I did with the boys. I'm really hoping this won't cause stretch marks on my tummy. I have been blessed without them so far but I still have 12 weeks to go. With my other pregnancies my belly didn't get very big but my butt got HUGE:) Just want to say that so you don't think I'm bragging about how small I am. I'm not that small. Now, you should know after I have this baby my cravings will come back STRONG AS EVER! I will again crave cookies, chocolate, bread and hamburgers. Thus losing weight will NOT be easy. With all my pregnancies I get hungry after delivery and it doesn't stop until I get pregnant again:) While pregnant = not hungry. It's NOT FAIR!!
I am excited to have a girl. I have been thinking about names. Nothing sticks out so far except one name that I won't disclose. I'm not sold on that either. Hopefully, inspiration will come. ;)
The boys love my belly. We keep telling David there is a baby girl in it. He doesn't get it. Lucas loves to rub it. He and Micah are very excited to have a baby sister. They are very happy it's not a boy. I think they even get tired of competing with one another. Although, that doesn't stop them.
I am emotional. Very sensitive. I'm on hormone estrogen overdrive it seems. Jon will be happy to get his wife back again. At least I'm not as angry as I was during the second trimester. Now I just cry about nothing. Yeah, gotta love hormones.
I wake-up during the night for at least 2 hours. Usually between the 3 a.m. to 5 a.m. hours. I just can't sleep. I get up and get a drink. Sometimes I eat. I go pee for the 4th or 5th time. Mainly I just lie in bed thinking. Nothing of importance usually. I eventually go back to sleep and sleep in 'til 8. When school starts this is going to kill me since I'll have to be out of bed by 7. The AGONY of it. :)
I get headaches a lot. Not little ones either. Big Ginormous ones that won't go away until I lie down in bed with an ice pack. There are times when I have to do this during the day and I have 2 or 3 boys climbing all over me. But that is fine because them all over me is better than the headache.
I really am not complaining about any of this. I just want to take note so I remember this pregnancy. I know I am truly blessed to be pregnant and healthy. I am grateful to God for this.
We are excited. Overjoyed and overwhelmed at times but feel extremely blessed to be healthy and happy with our children. We are grateful.

congrats on a girl! that is very exciting.
i too crave ice when pregnant. it goes away as soon as i deliver. SONIC carries bags of the pebble kind. i usually buy a bag a week and start eating it in the car. i am due the last week of dec. my ice craving haven't hit hard yet, but today i did start eating it. people tell me it's iron deficiency but mine is always fine.
i carried my 2nd and 3rd babies more straight forward and got a few stretch marks right around my belly button. i was ticked, but i knew then that i carried differently. hoping to get no additional ones this time.
good luck with the rest of the pregnancy.
I want to see a picture of the belly. I wish I could come see it in person. Maybe next year.
go find a sonic, STAT! buy it by the bag. don't share it.
