Weaving

As I sat in the waiting area I saw two men being treated. I thought it couldn't be too bad. They're men. Maybe I should have Jon get his eyebrows weaved. Sometimes they're unruly.

When it was my turn I sat in my chair. I told the lady what I wanted.

Make my eyebrows show up on my face. Blonde hair = blonde (white) eyebrows.
I want to see them. It's a risk I thought. She might dye them too dark and then what would I do? But I was in a risky mood today so I went for it.

10 minutes later after exquisite amount of pain my brows were weaved. They were medium brown color and I was thankful it was over.

Bottom line is this:

I will not make my husband suffer through that much pain no matter how unruly his brows can get. I love him too much. I love his brows too much. I love his eyes and his nose and his smile too much for such pain.

Just so you know I believe there is a double standard that applies to women in this business of making one HOT and Desirable.

Women have to suffer.

Men have to soothe the women after we suffer. And then they have to pay for our dinner and open our car doors.

Life's not fair people.

Now when I see you in person all you'll do is stare at my eyebrows. That's ok. I would stare too.

If you don't know what weaving is then you can google it. Or just imagine a long piece of dental floss type stuff and your brows being weaved and pulled with it. It hurts.
