Jon received the dreaded call this past Monday morning to get on the plane to the NY law office ASAP. Since then he has been working 20 hour days and not enjoying his 5 star hotel room. So sad. I feel awful for him. He's amazing and I am so proud of his hard work and abilities.
It's been a long week with the 3 musketeers. They are busy. Uncle Aaron (Jon's bro) started his new lawyer job (he now works across the street from Jon) on Monday morning too. He is staying here during the week while his wife and 4 kids finish up the school year and move up to this city we live in. They live in a nicer city 2 hours south of here. The boys liked have Uncle Aaron here even though they probably saw him for about 10 minutes a day. Sadly for Jon Micah would ask me right before bed when Uncle Aaron was coming home and when he would come back. I think Micah is just as confused as we adults are about the timing of business trips.
Tonight Jon was able to walk into the partner's office at a weak moment for the partner. Weak moment meaning the partner just talked to his wife and 2 kids and felt sorry so he is allowing Jon to head home Saturday night. YIPPEE!! When Jon left on Monday we didn't know when he would return. It could have been until the 18th of the month. That's along time alone with 3 kids. I talked my sister into visiting this Saturday thru Monday. I love my sister. She's a big help. The boys are excited to see her.
Oh and I found a house to move into that is $800 less then what we're currently paying. So we're moving!!! Isn't that exciting. I'm excited cause of the money. And the fact that it has more brown paneling. You know you love it. ;)
Well, I want to go sit on the couch and watch dumb t.v. So peace out my brothers and sistas.
Goodnight.

Yuck! Poor Jon. Phil was working 20-22 hour days a couple weeks ago and they stink! But he had a deadline so he knew it was only for a week...and he was still in DC. The fact Jon's work is open ended and so far away must really be tough. You're a trooper!
Yay brown panelling. We have our share of it, too. :)
