Star Wars Birthday Party

Jedi Training

Last Saturday we had a fun birthday party for Lucas at the park. We invited some of his preschool friends and some boys from church. By Luke's choice this party was for boys only, and no girls were allowed. I don't know why he is so anti-girl other than the fact that, to him, "girls only want to play princess and I don't like that game." I guess he does have a good point.

The theme was Star Wars. Lucas loves Star Wars, which I find kind of amusing because when we picked the name "Lucas" I remember Jon and I joking at the hospital 5 years ago about how some day Jon will be able to say "Luke, I am your Father" and Lucas actually understanding where that famous quote comes from. I sometimes say "Luke, I am your Mother" in the Darth Vader voice. Lucas just tells me I'm silly and laughs. It is amazing how fast 5 years goes by. Kids grow up fast, that is for sure.
X-Wing Fighter Cake

Micah blew out the candles the first time so we had to light them again so Lucas could do it. Pretty funny kid.

What an awesome idea! The picture of the kids with the light sabers is priceless. So you named him after George Lucas?

I'm impressed that you're exposing your children to the classics so early on. :)
