I've Been Tagged

How To Play This Game of Tag: Post these rules on your blog. List: 3 joys, 3 fears, 3goals, 3 current obsessions/collections, 3 random surprising facts about yourself. Tag 5 people at the end of your post by leaving their names. Let them know they are tagged by leaving a comment on their blog!

3 Joys

1. Spending time with my husband. Just being near him brings me joy:)

2. Watching my boys discover new things, find independence, gain confidence in themselves. Hugging and cuddling with my little boys. I love their hugs. Pretty much being a mother is pure joy.

3. Vacationing with my family and extended family. I love the adventures that we go on.

3 Fears + 1 bonus
(I have many fears. I probably have too many fears which could probably be considered not healthy, but nonetheless I still have them and try to put them in the back of my mind and not think of them. These are not necessarily my top fears).

1. Earthquakes. Now living in California I have this fear. I usually have this fear the most when I am in a parking garage.

2. My children getting hurt. Getting hit by a car, falling and breaking a bone or getting cut. Pretty much any type of injury brings me much anxiety even thinking about it.

3. Being home at night without Jon. I always hear weird noises. It will be interesting living in a house where I won’t have neighbors above, below or surrounding me. I think we will be getting a dog because of this. At least, I think it is a great excuse to get a dog.:) hehe.

4. Never losing my post baby belly that seems to be staying with me. I hope to someday NOT look 6 months pregnant:) (I’m trying to be funny here.)

3 Goals
1. To have a clean organized house. ( This will probably never happen until my children are older, and I’m not so stinkin' tired. Or until I hire a maid:))

2. Run a half marathon in under 2 hours. Along with this goal would be to lose 12-15 pounds. At this point I’d be happy to lose 5-10 but 15 would be great too:)

3. To take a pilates class or yoga class. There is a studio down the street from us which I hope to try out before moving.

3 Current Obsessions/Collections
1. I love shoes. I have not always loved shoes but now I love looking at them and buying them. I don’t buy them very often though since my feet are kind of funny and shoes don’t always like my feet. Plus it can get expensive buying cute shoes.

2. To Do Lists. I love making these lists but hardly ever complete them. The lists always get longer and never shorter. I guess that is just life.

3. Boys:) But in a different way than when I was a teenager. hehe. Honestly, my children and husband are my obsessions. Someday I will have to find something else to obsess about since my kids will eventually grow-up and leave me:( But for now I am happy to obsess about them. My husband will always be my obsession:) hehe.

3 Random Surprising Facts About Yourself + 2 bonus

1. I have a germ fetish. I won’t elaborate on this because I don’t want to offend anyone. All I will say is that if I know where the germs come from then I can deal with it better. If I don’t then it’s tough:)

2. I have buyers remorse with so many things. I will buy something and come home and decide I do not like it and then return it if it is unused. This is one reason I love Target.

3. I am incredibly indecisive. I have a hard time deciding and always want to wait until the last minute to come to a final decision. This is not good and I think I probably upset people because of this. I am sorry to everyone:)

4. I am shy when I meet people and hardly talk. Once I get to know the person than I am very open and enjoy talking, but only when I know they won’t use it against me:) hehe.

5. I love honesty. I want the full picture – the good, the bad, the ugly. I don’t like being surprised and want to know how and what to prepare for. This attitude applies to buying things, people, vacations, and most aspects of life.

I tag these 5 people: Maria, Maggie, Diana, Nicole, and Olivia M.

oh yeah...white coat means Jake is ready for third and fourth year when he'll be doing all hands on stuff in hospitals. The first two years are mostly book work so he is very excited. But we still have two years to go until he can call himself Dr. Stanfield. :-) We will spend our last two years in Boise. We are moving in July.

I think tags are great because you learn some random new things about your friends and family. (although I hope that our always-over-flowing garbage can wasn't up there with the germ thing:) )

So I got your "tag." I'm working on it. This requires a little thought. I purposely skimmed your responses so I wouldn't copy them, but I have a feeling that we will come up the same on many of these. When will that baby belly fat EVER go away!!!

I got your tag--and I'm working on it. I've never done one of these, but I'll do this one... I am with you on the indecisiveness and buyers remorse. It drives Tony crazy!
