Six Weeks

David is six weeks old tomorrow. Time goes by much faster with each child. With Lucas I hardly remember the first six weeks. Two things I remember with Lucas: I was sleep deprived and I ate lots of plain M&M's. With Micah I remember three things: Sleep deprivation and being a New York tourist with my parents and sister when Micah was 5 weeks old. I also ate tons and tons of M&M's but I had changed to the peanut butter flavor. M&M's were like some sort of medication at the time...prozac or something:) Just kidding:)

With David I remember a lot more. Maybe because I have been sleep deprived for the last 4 years and am use to it. Also it has been a huge help and blessing that Jon has been home for the last 4 weeks. Memories of the last 6 weeks include changing lots of diapers and feeding David, watching daytime television which I never do (What Not to Wear, The View, and Fox News), watching 24, Jon taking Micah and Lucas to Disneyland many times, David and I going with them this past week, helping out at Lucas's school, going to the movies twice by myself (P.S. I Love You, and 27 Dresses), and having at least one Big Gulp from 7-11 each day, and last but not least eating take out from Cheesecake Factory 2-3 times a week. I did give up the M&M's, instead I decided to take up the chocolate chip cookie habit. Me love cookies:)

It has been a great and fantastic 6 weeks. I will miss Jon when he goes back to work on Monday. I suppose my reality check will be coming soon.
