Rainy Day Beach Walk
On Saturday we wanted to get out of our apartment. We actually were going to the park, but it started raining so we decided to take a drive to the beach. We weren't planning on getting out. We just wanted to go for a drive. It seems like Jon and I are best able to talk while we are driving somewhere without the kids interrupting us every minute trying to get our attention. When we got there Micah woke-up and Lucas and Micah both were yelling to get out. So Jon took them for a 10 minute walk. I stayed in the car with David. It still boggles my mind that we live so close to the ocean. This August when our lease is up we plan on moving even closer. I can't wait.

Don't the pictures at the beach look out of place when you have jackets on?
Yes, but growing up we always went to the Oregon Coast and we had to wear coats and jackets. At least in Cali you only have to once in awhile. I made the kids wear their coats since they're getting over their colds. Jon was in shorts and a sweatshirt that day, but we have no pictures of him.
Looks like you guys had fun. Glad that everyone is feeling a little bit better-last week was our first week in a while where noone was sick and today we're back into it again.
PS-does that move in Sept. imply to the GULF coast by chance?:)
You're boys are just beautiful (they might not like that...so I'll say, so handsome!) Way to go you two.
I miss the beach. Maybe we'll move close to the ocean too!
