The Saddest Face You'll Ever See

Friday night Jon came home around 6:30. He was checking something on the computer when Lucas decided to casually hang from the bookshelf that is attached to the wall over the computer desk. Well, the bookshelf could not handle the extra 35 pounds (on top of the papers, books and various other items stashed up there) and came crashing down.

While we were cleaning up the mess, Micah decided to surf on the overturned laundry basket that was next to the bed. Although an experienced laundry-basket surfer, the general chaos of the moment was more than the little guy could handle.

He fell and split open his forehead on the corner of the metal bedframe. 3 hours in the ER and seven stitches later (counting the one on the inside of the cut), we finally went to bed.

We had a big day planned for Saturday and needed our rest. We were going to Disneyland!

That definitely IS the saddest face I've ever seen! You guys sure know how to have a good time!:) It looks like you're entering the ER stage of having boys-we're not there yet, so hopefully we can live vicariously through you for a while:)

Hope you had fun at Disneyland!(in december? CRAZY!)

Deanna-you didn't even say anything about this on the phone yesterday, I had to learn about this from the blog :) All I can say is, he is definitely your son. How many times did you get stitches?

Amanda- I thought you knew!! I talked to Doug on the phone on Sunday about it. I figured he told you. So sorry.

I know he is my son! And now I fear all of the falls. Keeping two active boys from wrestling and jumping is not an easy task.

We spent the 23rd of December in the ER. Rachel fell and hit her head on the coffee table. She got 4 stitches on her forehead. Lucas is lucky that he got to go to Disneyland the very next day! How fun!
