Superhero Halloween

Although not very original, Lucas and Micah were incredibly cute in their costumes. Lucas was Spiderman at school but decided to be Superman in the evening for trick-or-treating. I was kind of glad since I had bought the Superman costume for Micah but did not realize how big it was until Tuesday. Luckily, we had two Spiderman costumes (one from last year and one from this year). Micah ended up being Spiderman for trick-or-treating.

This year was the first year we went trick-or-treating to actual houses. Luckily, there is a nice neighborhood right behind our apartment. We kind of forgot to prep our kids as to what to say or do when they got to the door. At the first house we pretty much told them to run up and ring doorbell and get some candy. Jon followed them while I stayed on the sidewalk. It was really cute to see them both say trick or treat and thank you, and then run off to the next house. Jon was amazed at how much candy 2 and 4 year-old fists can grab. After about an hour the boys were done and ready to go home. It was a great Halloween filled with lots of fun memories.
