12 of 12 October

Another day in Paradise. Friday, October 12, 2012. We live exciting lives around here.  Looking at all the 12 of 12 pictures throughout the year it looks as if we live the same day over and over again.  But, Grace's hair is longer each month.  That is really the only difference. It's not like the weather changes around here.  At least not enough to really notice.  Not complaining.  It's just a observation.

01. David coloring. He was really into coloring Sponge Bob pictures.

02. Micah hanging out in the tree at the park.  He loves to climb and is quite good at it.

03. Me taking a picture and Grace trying to see what it looks like. It's her favorite part. She loves the camera as long as she gets to see the picture after you take it.

04. Grace reading a book by herself. She loves books and constantly asks if you can read to her. None of my boys did this.  Personally I think it's a girl thing.  You might disagree.

05. Army guys and tanks. I think I picked these toys up at least twice during the day and finally I gave up and just walked over them.  The boys especially David and the neighbor kids love army guys.

06. Lucas relaxing on the couch watching some t.v. show that is allowable in our home. He is working hard in his studies and sports. I am always happy when he gets to take a break and relax.

07.  We went to the neighborhood park and the boys brought the nerf guns. They got into some battle and enjoyed fighting each other and running around all over the place.

08. Micah pretending to be a karate kid. He really wants to take karate. I honestly do not need him or any of my children to learn to fight more often or effectively. They already fight enough.  

09. Lucas with his Nerf gun.  He looks so old in this picture. I like it, but at the same time the reality of him growing up is tough sometimes. Where does the time go?!!

10. Jon doing the dishes. He's the best husband and father ever. Always willing to help me and the kids as well as working long hours.  He does a lot for our family and I'm grateful for his love and patience with us all.

11. David. What can I say about this kid. He just is pure joy. His smile lights up the whole house.  Seriously, he is just so fun and such a firecracker. Always, making us laugh and keeps up going constantly. 

12. Grace sitting on the floor playing the ipad. She is very good at navigating it even though she is not even 2. She loves the preschool monkey game.  And she loves to look at the picture albums on it.
