Where are we? Where have we been?
We have been to places and back again. We have traveled and we are done. Well maybe...
July 1st (Thursday) the boys and I flew to Idaho Falls. Jon and Phineas drove.
July 2nd (Friday) our family along with some cousins went to Bear World. It was COOL!
July 3rd (Saturday) we celebrated Independence Day with a flag raising ceremony in the morning, Parade after that. Then to Rexburg to visit with Aunt Maria and family. Then back to Idaho Falls so Jon, Luke and Micah could go watch the fireworks show by the river. David and I called it quits and went to bed.
July 4th (Sunday) loaded up the van and drove 3 hours to Bear Lake to camp with the majority of the Olsen clan.
July 7th (Wednesday) loaded up the van and drove back to Idaho Falls.
July 8th and 9th (Thursday and Friday) we hung out with Jon's mom and siblings.
July 10 (Saturday) we loaded up the van and drove the 10 hours to Washington. We made excellent time traveling that day.
July 11th (Sunday) we loaded up the van again and drove the 3 1/2 hours to Seattle. My parents, sister, brother and his wife and 4 kids all went and we became tourists of Seattle for 3 days.
We enjoyed a Mariners baseball game, swimming in the hotel pool, Seattle Science Center, Space Needle, Rock n' Roll museum, Seattle Aquarium, Cruise of the Bay and the Pike Market.
July 13th (Tuesday) we drove back to the Tri-Cities and arrived around 8 p.m. Micah's 5th Birthday!
July 14th(Wednesday) Jon took Lucas and Micah swimming for 5 hours with their cousins. I went and got Micah's birthday cake and party stuff ready so we could celebrate that evening.
July 15th (Thursday) we drove out to my Grandma's house about 30 minutes away. We enjoyed a nice visit with her and my Aunt.
July 16th (Friday) I don't remember what we did.
July 17th (Saturday) Jon and I went on a date to the movies. We saw a dumb movie. I can't even remember the name of it. LAME. But spending time with Jon was NOT. We then went out to an early dinner. The boys were in heaven spending time with Uncle Doug and his bow and arrows. COOL!
July 18th (Sunday) my brother's baby girl was blessed in church so we all went to church and then to Kristina's (bro's wife) parents' home to celebrate. I took Jon to the airport and he flew home to L.A. so he could return to work the next morning.
July 19th (Monday) Jon went to work. I took care of the boys at my parent's house.
July 19th thru August 1st was a blur of events. I know we went swimming, boating once, to the park, McDonald's play land (which we never do since the germs in L.A. just gross me out), to Grandma's house on the farm, and really I don't remember much else. But we had lots and lots of fun with cousins and family.
My dad, brother and his wife and kids, and me and my boys all went down to Multnomah Falls and camped for one night and did lots of hiking around the different waterfalls. It was Beautiful. If you've never been I recommend it.
The journey home to Los Angeles started August 1st. We drove down through Utah instead of going through Oregon and Cali. My mom drove with the boys, dog and I. We feel the drive through Utah is much easier of a drive than through Oregon. Just our opinion though. We were able to spend the night at my sister's house in Utah although she was not home. She has been traveling nonstop it seems like for her work. But her house was perfect for us to stay in. Thanks Amanda for putting us up! Monday August 2nd we left Utah and drove the rest of the way to L.A. We got home just before rush hour started about 5 p.m. We made great time! I felt right at home as soon as we hit the L.A. traffic. :)
Since we have been home we have been to the beach, the Getty Museum (thanks to Jon's sister and family coming to visit), the parks, Malibu, cousin Tyler's baptism, bonfire on the beach, L.A. Temple Visitor Center (just opened), and let's not forgot the trips to Costco, Ikea, Target, and the grocery store. I've been trying to get organized and ready for the school year to start. 3 MORE WEEKS! I hope I don't have to go to any of those stores again for a very long time:) Well, except the grocery store. But the others I can handle not seeing for quite some time.
And now I am 26 weeks pregnant! 14 weeks to go. But whose really counting:)
This guy is still a pistol. Funniest most active and cutest 2 year old I know! Just love him!

LOVED spending time with you guys this past week! You are a great mom...your children are secure in the love of their parents. You make me want to be a better mother. Keep up the good work!
