Luke finished 1st grade. What a year! He made lots of friends. He excelled in his studies. His teacher along with other adults have told me numerous times what an athlete he is. Although he is the smallest one playing he is quick and coordinated. I guess him playing with 3rd and 4th graders basketball and soccer out on the schoolyard he improved his skillz. As his mother I don't know if I really like the fact that he dives on concrete while chasing after a ball or decides to challenge a 4th grader in the middle of the key. Many bumps and bruises. With his studies he is above average in everything and becoming quite the reader. If only schoolwork was his first priority. Oh well. Maybe someday.
This picture Mr. Skye is being goofy showing how much he'll miss his students. Mr. Skye was super cool and such a great support to all the kids. This is the last day of school and the night before the Lakers won game 7. Mr. Skye was downtown watching the game and needless to say he did not have a voice the next day.
