After reading books tonight Lucas was exhausted and tells us that "All that reading makes me have to go pee." Of course, Micah thinks that is hilarious because his brother just said the word pee (something with potty words and little boys - they think it's hilarious).
Five minutes later we were getting pajamas on and the boys started telling knock knock jokes. Their jokes make no sense, but I laugh anyway, because if I laugh then they laugh and I love hearing them laugh.
After many jokes Lucas says to me:
"All that water made me dam[n]ed."
Me (with a serious face): "What did you just say?"
Lucas: "All that water made me dam[n]ed"
Me: "You mean dammed as in a dam for water?"
Lucas: "Yeah."
Jon and I looked at each other and started laughing hysterically. The boys thought we were laughing at their knock knock jokes which reinforced them making a zillion more.

Caelyn does knock knock jokes too. She always combines a few that she's heard, so they make no sense. But she thinks it's hilarious.
Kids are hilarious, whether they make sense or not. Probably more so if they don't make sense. I love it!
