Not too much going on here in beautiful L.A. Lucas is still in school half days. His last day is next Wednesday! This morning I told him and he raised his right arm and yells "PARTY!" I find this amusing since he's not even in kindergarten and he knows that summertime is party time. Classic.
Yesterday we went up to Hurricane Harbor water park. It is right next to Six Flags Magic Mountain. We went with our playgroup friends. It is the new activity for the summertime. Every Wednesday we will try to go. I was kind of hesitant of going because of gas prices and the cost of the season passes. But, I'm soooo glad we did it. The boys loved the slides and I did too. Although, I did learn that it is possible to get a raspberry on the keester if you come off the slides too fast and slide off the padding onto the concrete. Not exactly a pleasant landing. The rest of the time I used my feet to stop myself. Good times! The one good thing is I have lots of padding on the backside so it doesn't hurt to sit down:) haha.
I'm slowly losing weight by doing nothing, which pretty much means it's probably muscle I'm losing. But that's alright. My clothes fit better and eventually I will commit myself to running consistently and the muscle will come back. At least this is my experience with my body. Maybe when I'm in Washington I'll start my commitment to run. That way the grandparents can watch the kids! haha.
We are now paying $4.63 in gas at least for today. I imagine tomorrow it will go up another 10 cents like it does everyday. I honestly didn't think I'd ever pay this much. Obviously, I was just being innocent or ignorant in the ways of oil and politics and such. But, sometimes being innocent and ignorant is nice, that is until reality hits. O'well. When we move I won't be driving so much so our gas bill WILL be going down tremendously.
Lucas has decided he is already a teenager and will come over to the computer, put on itunes and listen to music. Currently his favorite songs are Kung Fu Fighting and Who let the Dogs Out. Both of which Jon introduced him too. He'll be sitting at the computer listening to the music and rocking out. I was sitting on the couch one day and was in awe that this is what life will be constantly in another 8 or so years. Can't wait:)
This post is kind of long and full of sarcastic rambles. Guess that's the mood I'm in. Hope you enjoyed the Awesomeness as much as I did.
P.S. I thought I was covering up my zit but when I just looked closer I noticed I missed and so you can still see the zit. Just so you know I don't have the zit anymore. These were taken a few weeks ago. (All this said with funny sarcasm.)

How did you manage to take all three of your boys to a waterpark and not have them drown?
What no picture of the raspberry?!
And how did you take all your kids to the waterpark?
oh, and yes, I did thoroughly enjoy the awesomeness of this post!
Nice job on the zit coverage Deanna! We will have to introduce Lucas to some different music while we are camping, maybe the Eagles or the Monkees! LOL
I bought a bowling ball last night so we will have to go over to Atomic Lanes with all the kids and go bowling :) Love you!
Water Parks are Awesome!! I went on thursday with my class and it is the most active fun I have had in years.
What happend to Lucas's head? and How is the raspberry?
I echo everyone else with the waterpark thing. We went to Sesame Place yesterday(and of course thought of you guys:) ), and it was still a suicide mission with BOTH of us there-and it wasn't necessarily the twins, it was Shem-. You are amazing(or you left David with a babysitter). And you still look good, even with a zit. It was a very, very awesome post:)
I love Sesame Place Park! Fun times. The secret with having 3 kids at a water park is having other moms help. Currently I have the most kids but soon two other ladies will also have 3 kids each. Then the other two women have 1 child each and they are about Micah's age too. With the help of everyone we manage to watch our kids. It's either me out in the water playing with all the older kids. Another mom is with the 18 month old kids and then one mom is with David who is currently the only baby. The other moms are standing around helping watch too. It's a joint effort.
The water park is not very busy now so maybe that is why last week went well too. The plan is to go every Wednesday, but I am the type that will only go if the crowds aren't bad and the other moms are willing to help. We'll see. Micah also wears this really cool yellow floatation device. The water is not very deep either.
I love long sarcastic rambles! I hardly noticed a zit on your face, you should see my face, Proactive is not working! I love waterparks, but I have not been brave enough to go there on my own with my three little crazy kids. I wish we lived closer!
