Man, I remember when date night cost $10, and that was if we splurged and bought a soda inside the theater (instead of sneaking in a 44 ouncer under my sweatshirt).
But that was before we lived in Los Angeles, and before I had a blackberry...

Classic. Although I remember, jon, when date night was a Jr. Bacon Cheeseburger and a movie at Movies 8 on Tuesday night: $3.50 total.
Only $9 for candy and a coke? That is a BARGAIN!
When our kids were young, our idea of a date night was...put the kids to bed early, go get take-out and eat it while watching a DVD.
We are steadily approaching "Maddie as babysitter." She will be 11 in May and we have already left her in charge plenty of times. It is liberating!
The good old days of cheap date nights are over. It's pricey to get blackberry free time but worth it!
