We've been working on teaching our children proper Christmas Tree Etiquette. While setting up the tree Jon and I heard ourselves telling the children "Don't do this, Don't do that." Even two days later we have to keep reminding them of these "rules" we have tried to establish.
- No hugging the tree
- No jumping into the tree (from the ground, the couch, the ottoman, or any other surface, including chairs, tables, etc.)
- No eating the tree
- No hiding under or in the tree
- No pushing or pulling the tree
- No throwing toys into the tree (including Power Rangers and matchbox cars)
- No throwing the ornaments off of the tree
- No sucking on the lightbulbs
- No pushing Micah into the tree
- No climbing the tree
Hopefully the tree will still be presentable when Grandma and Grandpa come for Christmas.

What about knocking the tree over? Zane did that last year. Or how about climbing the tree? Can they sleep underneath the tree? Kyah likes to do that.
That's hilarious, I found myself laughing hysterically:) Oh the joys of christmas time with little kids:)
